S.P. Scott founded JAMAICA-lit Foundation, a non-profit, charity organisation to improve literacy in inner-city and rural communities in Jamaica.

This organisation aims to achieve its mission via book clubs at the local community level and with the use of Mobile Library Services.
​
We distribute books of all descriptions from bible stories, children's books to novels, and magazines.
​
We have been collecting and are already well on our way to hit our target of 1,000,000 books/magazines.
